VINYASA FLOW YOGA– Vinyasa means to “place in a special way” and Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a continuous moving mediation, a dynamic system of practicing yoga, linking breath to movement. It allows one to build heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration.  Each class begins with with a series of postures (asanas) to warm the body up, works into sequencing built around the sun salutations, and finishes with rest (Savasana). All classes include balance, back bending and core/ab work. Vinyasa Flow Yoga is accessible to all levels.   

SLOW FLOW – Slow Flow is a moderate paced flow class with an emphasis on breath work.  This mindful practice is designed to help you tap into your inner strength and the connection between mind, body, and soul.  This class is a wonderful place for beginners to start.  

AROMA SLOW FLOW –  This class is the same as slow flow except that it incorporates Aromatherapy through the use of essential oils to enhance your sensory experience. 

ENERGY FLOW – Energy Flow combines flow yoga, Pranayama, and rejuvenating energy work!  The focus of Energy Flow is to develop both inner and outer strength that stems from the core of our being.  The aim is to bring the Chakras into balance.  Energy work is offered during savasana to help clear any energetic blocks throughout the subtle body.  Leave feeling energized and in harmony.

YIN– Yin Yoga stems from the Hatha tradition of yoga. Yin emphasizes long-held, passive stresses of the deeper connective tissue. It mobilizes and strengthens the joints, ligaments, and deep facial network.  Most postures are done on the floor in a seated or lying down position and are held anywhere from 2-10 minutes. Yin can be highly relaxing and energizing at the same time.  This class is accessible to all levels.

RESTORATIVE YOGA– This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Props are used to completely support you in the postures which are held anywhere from 2-20 minutes.  Experience a deep and gentle stretching and strengthening of the body. Leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.  

FLOW & RESTORE  – Flow and Restore combines gentle movement with longer held restorative postures.  This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. This class is appropriate for students of all levels.  

GENTLE YOGA – Gentle Yoga is a slow pace flow with emphasis on deep relaxation and breath work.  Gentle classes are accessible to everyone and are especially great for beginners. This class offers easier and modified postures, body awareness, gentle stretching and strengthening, and relaxation. Learn to be gentle with your mind and body as you allow mental stress and physical tension to dissolve.

PRENATAL YOGA– Prenatal Yoga is an opportunity to connect with your baby & honor your changing body. In this class you will practice postures that will build strength & increase flexibility and learn to utilize the breath to calm & connect the mind, body & spirit.  Yoga can help with the discomforts of pregnancy, helping to ease nausea, fatigue, swelling of hands and feet, back pain and sciatica. No prior yoga experience is necessary and all trimester stages are welcome to this nurturing practice.

ENERGY HEALING HOUR – The Energy Healing Hour occurs every second Friday of the month.  Each Healing Hour is unique and offers a special guest at each session. Every Healing Hour includes Restorative Yoga, Reiki, and deep meditation.  Cultivate energy awareness and wake up to the present moment!  This offering promotes stress reduction, relaxation, and healing of body, mind, and spirit. Come explore and feel awesome!!

FREE MEDITATION – Enjoy a different style of meditation each week for FREE.  This short 25 minute offering is suitable for all students, even those who have never tried meditation before.  Come explore and discover all the benefits that meditation can offer.

*Please bring a yoga mat (Blue Soul Yoga has mats for sale) as well as water and towel if needed.
